Prices and Itineraries

I will conduct spontaneous Jerusalem Walks for any number of people, no minimum, even for one person. The price of a spontaneous tour is $40 or IS120 per person.

If more than 10 people sign up the price will be not exceed $300 per group. The maximum no in a group is 50.

Duration of Spontaneous Jerusalem Walks.

Tours will last for 3 hours.

Meeting Place of Spontaneous Jerusalem Walks.

Meeting place: in front of the Israel Government Tourist office a few steps after entering the Jaffa Gate on the left hand as one enters the city after passing through the gate.

Itinerary of Spontaneous Jerusalem Walks.

Itinerary 1 Kaleidescope Walk.

We start with a brief explanation of the Jaffa Gate and the walls. Stop to view David’s Tower. Ascend to a magnificent vantage point over the Old City for a description and brief history of the 4 quarters of the Old City. Walk along the great Roman Road, known as the Cardo. Stop to view the archaeological excavations. Continue through the Jewish Quarter to Broad Wall. Visit the 4 Synagogues of Rabbi Yohanan ben Zakkai. Continue down the steps to the Western (Wailing) Wall with a magnificent view of the Dome of the Rock, the Wailing Wall and the Mt. of Olives..

On request the tour can be extended to include, the Temple Mount, the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Itinerary 2. Ramparts Walk.

Start at the Jaffa Gate. Ascend the Wall behind David’s Tower. View the Old and New City of Jerusalem. Walk past the Armenian Quarter. View of Montefiori’s Windmill and suburb. Continue to the Zion Gate. Spectacular view of the Dome of the Rock and Mt. Zion. Descend to the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) continue through the Dung Gate to the Milo walk along the Kidron Valley where you can have a beautiful view of the Mt. of Olives and the ancient monumental tombs in the valley.

Optional extension. Visit the City of David.

The Cost of a pre reserved Jerusalem Walk:

Full day tour is $300 per group, irrespective of the number of participants.

A half day pre reserved Jerusalem Walk is $200 per group.

Duration of a pre reserved Walk.

Pre reserved Jerusalem Walks can be up to 4 hours for a half day and up to 9 hours for a full day.

Meeting point of a pre reserved Jerusalem Walk.

The meeting point is fixed by arrangement with the group.

Itinerary of a pre reserved Jerusalem Walk.

Itineraries are by arrangement with the tourist. Each itinerary is planned in conjunction with the tourist, usually ahead of time by phone or e mail.
